I love food – always have, always will. Cooking and baking are some of my favorite things to do, and what makes it even better is sharing my love for it. Here you will find a collection of delicious recipes that are tested and approved by my friends, my family and me.
Trying out new recipes, experimenting with the ones I have and creating new ones is fun. Taking photos of food is my obsession. So why not start a food blog? I’ve recently graduated from the University of Augsburg with a bachelor degree in American Studies. After spending years writing essays and term papers about literature, I finally feel like writing about my love for food. With the help of my significant other, my better half and personal tech genius Martin, Apropos Appetite was launched. Finding a name was hard, but this one goes back to the roots. After all, a healthy appetite for food and trying out new things is the idea behind this blog.
As undeniably as my love for baking and food packed with carbs is, I try to eat healthy most of the time. For a long time I thought that eating healthy means compromising on flavor, eating cardboard- like food and living without comfort food. Luckily this is not the case! This blog is all about celebrating good food and balance. Mostly healthy recipes but also some comfort food and treats. After all – who wants to live without chocolate or cookie dough?
